Getting the Christmas Tree

 Every year we like to go to McConnel's Christmas Tree Farm to pick out our Christmas tree.

This year, - even though most days have been highs of *40-*50 the only day that worked to get the tree it was FREEZING with a very biting wind!

This did NOT stop us from looking at EVERY tree for the perfect one! :)

Justice was proud to carry the 'measuring stick' they give so you have a better idea of how tall your tree really will be once you get it home!! :)

Felicity did wonderful considering how cold it was!

We finally found the very best, most perfect tree ever!!!

Felicity and I decided to go the warm truck to wait while the boys cut and shook the tree....

She loved 'driving' while we waited. :)

 The world's best Daddy. - And a very strong and handsome man, - AND ultimate prankster... when he got closer he pretended to trip and throw the tree through our windshield..... hardy har  har. : )

At home we turned on the music, drank hot chocolate and decorated the tree....

We all love taking turns hanging our favorite ornaments.

Felicity wanted to touch them all. :)

Later, after the gifts were wrapped and put underneath.
